3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

With other users (as intended by the platform):

  • Consultant profiles (name, certifications, experience, availability, bio, endorsements) are visible to all logged-in employers and to the public on browse pages
  • Consultant contact information (email, phone) is revealed only to employers who have unlocked your profile
  • Employer company names and job postings are visible to logged-in consultants
  • When an employer shares your profile with a hiring manager, that manager receives a summary of your public profile information via email

With service providers:

  • Neon (PostgreSQL): Database hosting — stores all platform data
  • Vercel: Platform hosting and deployment
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery
  • Anthropic: AI-powered bio generation (we send limited profile data to generate summaries — no data is retained by Anthropic for training)

For legal reasons:

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of fltrIT, our users, or the public.

4. Consultant Profile Visibility

Consultant profiles on fltrIT are visible at different levels depending on the viewer:

  • Public (logged-out visitors): Can browse consultant profiles but see only professional information — contact details are hidden
  • Logged-in employers (not unlocked): See full professional profile but contact details remain hidden
  • Employers who have unlocked your profile: See your full contact information including email and phone number
  • Your own profile: You see everything

You may update your availability status, bill rate, and other profile details at any time from your dashboard.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

  • Your profile will be removed from public and employer views within 7 days
  • We retain certain records for up to 7 years as required for tax and legal compliance
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely
